India-Canada Dispute

India-Canada Dispute:

India has ordered six diplomats, including the Canadian High Commissioner, to leave the country. They were told to return to India by October 19. Meanwhile, Canada is facing backlash. After Canada accused the Indian High Commissioner in Canada, Sanjay Verma, of wrongdoing, India responded by recalling him.

In response, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) held a press conference with a surprising claim. They alleged that Indian spy Lawrence Bishnoi was working with a gang, and that there were attempts to create terror in Canada in collaboration with the Bishnoi gang.

“We’re seeing the involvement of organized crime groups in Canada,” said Brigitte Gaubin, Deputy Commissioner of the Canadian Police, at a press conference in Ottawa. She stated that the Bishnoi gang, which is reportedly linked to Indian intelligence, is involved. When asked if Indian government spies were engaging in murder, extortion, threats, and coercion, Deputy Commissioner Gaubin replied, “yes.”
